About this workshop
A special session for the curious and crafty! Our high tech and seemingly complex world of machine embroidery now condensed into a child-friendly session, where children will turn their doodles into their prized embroidered artworks.
The Doodle-to-Stitches workshop experience:
- Each child will come with a drawing prepared beforehand
- We'll teach your child how to use a professional digitizing programme to recreate his/her drawing in digital stitch format
- We'll have fun choosing our embroidery thread colour
- Together, we'll learn how to operate an embroidery machine and stitch out the artwork!
Age requirement
This workshop is for children aged 7-12 years. Child will need to be able to follow instructions with guidance and observe safety rules. Parent/guardian accompaniment is allowed.
